The use of superhard materials
1. Abrasive tools
Diamond tools are mainly used for grinding, polishing or cutting the following materials: hard alloy, ceramics and refractory materials, glass, graphite, gemstones, non-ferrous materials, and non-metallic materials.
CBN grinding tools are mainly used for grinding and polishing of various kinds of high-speed steel, bearing steel, cast iron, stainless steel, wear-resistant coating, superalloy, and other refractory materials.
2. Tools (including thin-film coated tools)
